Perhaps you are going through a difficult situation in your life that has left you feeling lost and uncertain. Whether it is a relationship that has fallen into conflict or a personal struggle within, it can be overwhelming and it may feel as if your life is spiralling out of control. These difficult times can cause a range of emotions…loneliness, sadness, grief, anxiety and depression leaving us unable to sleep, relax or enjoy life as we once did. Counselling can help bring clarity and insight to the things in your life that you would like to change and help you move toward being the person you want to be.


I work with individuals who come to counselling experiencing a variety of challenges in their lives. Primarily, therapy is about the relationship between the client and the therapist and it is important you feel safe and accepted as this is central to the process.  I use a holistic and integrative approach to therapy that is grounded in a humanistic and relational perspective. Each client is unique and therefore I tailor my therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each individual I work with. My way of being with you is genuine, supportive and spontaneous. ​I believe in the worth and resourcefulness of all clients and believe that therapy can be a life changing and positive experience. It would be a privilege to assist you on your journey.


Initial meeting

The initial session is an opportunity for us to meet and to talk through what brings you to counselling and what your individuals needs are. I place great emphasis on the the relationship between myself and my client and understand it is important for you to feel comfortable and safe. This session allows you to decide if you think I am a person you feel able to work with in therapy. After this session there is no obligation to continue if it doesn't feel right for you.

Further sessions

I work with clients on a short-term or long-term basis. After our initial meeting, we will agree a regular day and time for our weekly session as regularity and continuity are two important factors in therapy. Counselling is a sheltered and supportive space, allowing you to work through your difficulties in a secure and holding therapeutic relationship.
