Hello and welcome
Your presence here may be driven by curiosity, distress or crisis; whatever the reason, you are welcome.
I offer you a safe, judgement free space in which to explore your concerns where together we will weave a pathway through the past, present and into the future. Understanding the influence that childhood and past experiences have on our ‘present’, healing and moving forward into a future with more awareness, hope, and strategies for coping with future life stresses.
Choosing a counsellor is an important step, the relationship developed between us is key to successful therapy; feeling comfortable, confident and safe to explore yourself, your experiences, and your relationships past and present.
Please feel free to browse this site, read more about me and how I work with clients and maybe even call me for a free 15 minute telephone conversation to discuss your concerns, goals and how we might work together to address them.
Never hesitate to explore possibilities; find the right person for you.
My name is Amanda. I am an Integrative counsellor based in Norwich, Norfolk. I work with couples and individuals in a way which respects your individual needs and facilitates personal growth by helping you explore and utilise your own strengths and personal identity. My intention is to provide you with a trusting supportive environment, and to encourage understanding, awareness, healing, and change. I am passionate about empowering you to make the choices and changes that feel right for you and to discover your own answers, gain insights and new perspectives. Changing our lives and situation is a process, however, within the safety of a therapeutic relationship it can be empowering and reassuring at the same time, helping clients to move from despair to hope. It would be a privilege to be a part of your journey.
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it"
What my clients say
"I was really comfortable with Amanda and I didn’t feel judged at all. I felt able to open up and be more honest than I had done with anyone else (myself included). This gave me time and space to talk things through when life had become difficult. I feel so much stronger now and able to cope"
